How Psychoanalysis Works

Initial stage

The course begins with an initial meeting to get to know each other and gather information, to understand the problem or life situation that prompts you to contact me, your needs and expectations, and to then establish a personalized course of action.

The process

Through regular sessions, we better define the problem/symptomatology by making an initial diagnostic assessment. Depending on the type of treatment chosen, at this point we can work from a supportive perspective or opt to explore your internal world (thoughts, experiences, beliefs, memories, images, etc.) to reveal relational patterns and unconscious patterns of behavior.

Closing phase

Over time, as you approach the end of treatment, you will be able to have a more complex and richer view of yourself and a different way of interacting with others and with reality. All this, together with the changes achieved and the remission of symptoms, will improve your quality of life.
